With the theme eTourism: Towards a Sustainable Digital Society the ENTER 2019 conference will focus on exploring the ways in which technology and tourism together can make our society more sustainable. The International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) calls for best use cases of ICTs for destination marketing and management projects. This call particularly aims at representatives from DMOs, public and private, who have valuable experiences with ICT-related projects to report and present in the ENTER2019 Conference.

Organised by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT), the pre-conference event provides a forum for doctoral students undertaking research related to Information and Communication Technology in Travel and Tourism to interactively discuss their research with peers, colleagues, and leading scholars in the field. Doctoral students at all stages (i.e. beginning as well as nearly completed) are encouraged to participate.

Under the IFITT ICT4D Scholarship (Information and Communication Technologies for Development), IFITT (The International Federation for IT in Travel and Tourism) will fund young talents coming from developing/emerging countries, to provide a positive impact onto their respective communities through the application of information and communication technology (ICT).
